Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at the University of New Mexico - Hospitals. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with the healthcare team, and adhering to hospital policies and procedures.Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and effective direct care to assigned patients, incorporating age-specific considerations.
• Implement and document individualized care plans, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
• Participate in orientation and assume precepting and evaluation responsibilities of new personnel.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
• Maintain a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients and families.Qualifications
  • Education: Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Experience: 1 year of directly related experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Credentials: Current RN license in New Mexico or reciprocal agreement, CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuer within 30 days.Please note that this is a full-time position with a requirement for four shifts per schedule, two weekend shifts, and one summer and one winter holiday.
