Overview: Presbyterian is seeking an RN to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients in an Outpatient Clinic. Common responsibilities include preparing the patient for the visit, maintaining efficient patient flow, assisting the provider with treatments and procedures, medication administration, support for clerical functions to include scheduling, referrals, authorization and in-basket support with the EMR Type of Opportunity: Full Time (1.0 FTE/40 hours per week)Work Schedule: Monday - Friday How you grow, learn and thrive matters here.

• EPIC electronic charting system Responsibilities:
  • Being the primary point of contact for structural heart patients, with triaging calls as appropriate to providers
  • Review of referrals for appropriate records
  • Maintain patient tracking in Excel as well as 3 rd party system
  • Patient education both in person and over telephone
  • Pre- and post-procedure patient telephone calls
  • Registry requires follow up calls using validated tools / templates
  • Patient screening through data mining software
  • Assist in growing program protocol development Qualifications:
    • Associate's degree in nursing
    • State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License
    • BLS certification REQUIRED at time or hire
