Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our established
Endocrinology team of exceptional clinicians and staff in our
Albuquerque, NM location. We offer a nationally competitive salary
with relocation allowance available, CME allowance and fully paid
malpractice insurance. Practice Highlights
- Monday-Friday with 36 hours of direct patient care and 4 hours
of administrative time. Flexible scheduling options. Family

- Group size: 7 Physicians, 1 APP and 1 Pharmacist Clinician and
2 CDE
- Daily volume is 16-18 patients per day
- Onboarding and training provided with graduated patient volumes
and conditions
- 50% diabetic, 40% thyroid and the remaining 10% is other
endocrine functions
- Comprehensive diabetes program with Certified Diabetic Educator
(CDE), Pharmacist Clinician and Advance Practice Provider (APP)
support.
- Experience in insulin pump is preferred
- Mature practice with embedded prior authorization team members
to minimize administrative burden
- Robust Tumor board with collaboration with outside supporting
specialties
- Opportunity to carry individual patient panel
- System-Wide EPIC EMR Responsibilities: Summary: Makes all
professional medical judgments in care of patients seen
Responsibilities: Makes all professional medical judgments in the
care of patients seen. Manages the physician/patient relationship.
Participates in system wide health management initiatives. Provides
input into the practice site s financial, clinical, and service
quality performance; budget; capital plan; and personnel issues.
Assists in the development and implementation of clinical and
service standards. Receives and resolves patient complaints.
Participates in the recruitment and replacement of other providers.
Enhances professional growth and development through participation
in educational programs, literature review, ins-ervices, and
workshops. Advises other providers regarding optimal and
cost-effective treatment of patients with endocrine disorders.
Credentials Required New Mexico Board Certified Nurse Practitioner.
Masters degree in nursing. New Mexico license required. Three or
more years experience in an inpatient or outpatient setting in
family practice, internal medicine, or geriatrics. Qualifications:

Practitioner OR at least 2 years of family medicine or internal
medicine and experience with Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM)
and pumps

environment Credentials Required Nurse Practitioner - Masters
degree in Nursing, New Mexico Nurse Practitioner license, ANCC or
AANP certification required. Minimum of two years
experience.Physician Assistant - Baccalaureate prepared CAHEA
Certified Physician Assistant or two (2) years working experience
as a Certified Physician Assistant, and licensed by the New Mexico
Board of Medical Examiners required. Minimum of two years
