This is a regular, full-time, position based at our Gibson Branch in Albuquerque. This position has the ability to work a hybrid remote work schedule after a period of time and up to manager discretion.Join the rest of our teammates and become eligible for a generous benefits package that we offer:--- Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance--- 401(k) Retirement savings program that includes employer match.--- Paid time off with accrual starting from day one.--- 11 Paid holidays off during the year! --- Tuition Reimbursement for College Degrees--- Employee Clothing Advance--- Fitness Reimbursement Program--- Employee Assistance Program--- Short- and Long-Term Disability--- Travel AssistanceThis is what we would like you to do:--- Support the daily operational activities to include share draft processing, ACH file processing, and wire transfer processing.--- Process and reconcile the various electronic and batch transaction posting files daily, while maintaining strict adherence to Banking and Credit Union Regulations, established processing deadlines, and current Kirtland Credit Union (KCU) policies, procedures, and guidelines.--- Assist other departments in the prompt and accurate resolution of member complaints/questions.Primary Job Duties:--- Assumes responsibility for the effective payment processing functions of checks, automated clearinghouse, and funds transfers.--- Processing of incoming/outgoing cash letters through the BluePoint software to the Federal Reserve. Processing of incoming/outgoing return cash letters through BluePoint to the Federal Reserve Bank. --- Processing share drafts for branch adjustments and research. Process cash letter adjustments to include fraud and forgeries. Process large item notifications.--- Process ACH debit originations for loan payments and accounts payable in accordance to NACHA rules and regulations, Regulation E, and KCU policies, procedures, and guidelines. --- Process ACH Stop Payment requests, Written Statement of Unauthorized Debit requests, and US Treasury Federal Reclamations in a timely manner. --- Assumes responsibility for the effective performance of assigned research, reporting, and reconciliation functions.--- Review systems reports and perform all daily reconciliations for share drafts, ACH, and wire transfers ensuring that outstanding items are resolved in a timely fashion. --- Perform research in response to inquiries from our members, lawyers, and examination authorities regarding wires, ACH processing, check copies, statements, account adjustments, etc. that are requested through our member research database or through subpoenas. Analyze the research request to determine how best to complete. Education/Certification:--- Associates and/or bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred Experience Required:--- Three years of directly related experience in a financial institution working in payment processing/servicing with a focus on support operations preferred Required knowledge, skills and abilities:--- Knowledge of all applicable laws and regulations for all ACH, check and wire processing preferred.--- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with members and other employees.--- Strong problem resolution skills.--- Strong Multi-tasking abilities.--- Strong organizational skills.--- Able to work with a high degree of efficiency, accuracy, and self- accountability in a fast-paced environment .
