We are currently seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist for Behavioral Health at Kirtland Air Force Base. Join our team of talented professionals at the 377th MDG Medical Treatment Facility ( MTF ) for Primary Care - Behavioral Health in Albuquerque, NM.Employment Status: Full-timeCompensation: Salaried position, paid bi-weekly.Schedule: Monday - Friday. Shifts will normally be scheduled for an eight (8) hour period and no more than forty (40) hours per week, between 6:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.Benefits: Competitive financial package with a comprehensive insurance package including health, dental, vision, and life coverage.Accrued Paid Time Off (PTO)Paid Holidays (Outlined in Handbook)401(k) PlanRequirements: Must have and meet the following:Degree: Must hold a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA- accredited psychology program or a program acceptable to the Office of the Surgeon General, U.S. Air Force.Education:Graduate from an American Psychology Association-accredited college or university with a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychologyInternship/Residency: Successful completion of an internship in psychologyaccredited by the American Psychological AssociationExperience:Must have at least 12 months of experience, in the last 24 months, with assessing and providing evidence-based individual counseling to patients within a mental health or health care facilityMust have at least 12 months of direct hands-on experience in the last 24 months with computer operations, basic word processing, data entry, and use of an automated medical record systemAdditional experience as required to meet clinical competency requirements specified in the Service-specific credentialing instructionsPrefer those with recent experience (within the past three years) providing integrated behavioral health services within a primary care settingThe HCW shall serve as a member of the primary care clinics health care team and assist the primary care manager (PCM) in managing the overall health of their enrolled populationThe program goal is to assist the Air Force Medical Home (AFMH) in meeting its core principles of whole person orientation and coordinated/integrated patient care by improving management of cognitive and behavioral factors impacting the health of the enrolled populationScope and responsibilities include patient care (e.g., functional assessment, targeted and collaborative problem solving) and consultation with AFMH members to identify (and efficiently and effectively target) primary problems impacting the enrolled populationServices will be governed by U.S. Air Force practice standards as delineated in the Behavioral Health Optimization Program (BHOP) practice manualCertificate: Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association or American Red CrossLicensure: Current, complete, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a psychologist in any State, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, or the US Virgin IslandsJob Summary:Practice within the guidelines of their state licensing board, American Psychological Association Ethical Principles and Code of Conduct, and MTF privilegesConduct psychological evaluations utilizing information from clinical interviews,psychological testing, and collateral sources, as appropriateEstablish psychiatric diagnoses according to the American Psychiatric Association Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of DisordersProvide psychological treatment for individuals and groups; help medical and surgical patients deal with illnesses or injuriesAssist in the rehabilitation of patients#IND123by Jobble
