The Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) provides therapeutic interventions for the rehabilitation of patients with physical, psycho-social, and developmental disorders under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. The role includes coordinating care, promoting patient independence, and advocating for patients while ensuring a comprehensive rehabilitation program is in place. Aimed at improving patient outcomes, this position requires an Associate Degree and certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
