OverviewUniversity of New Mexico - Hospitals is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Mother & Baby Unit team. As a Clinical Leader, you will provide direct nursing care to assigned patients, while also leading and mentoring your peers.Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and effective direct patient care, incorporating age-specific considerations.
• Implement and document individualized care plans, collaborating with the healthcare team.
• Participate in orientation and assume precepting responsibilities, mentoring new personnel.
• Assist with special tests and procedures, ensuring proper consent and patient safety.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment, adhering to Hospitals standards.Qualifications
  • Current RN licensure in NM or reciprocal agreement.
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provisional or Professional Rescuer certification within 30 days.
  • Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate degree.Benefits
