Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse to join our team at the University of New Mexico Hospitals. As a Clinical Nurse, you will work within the nursing process to provide direct care to assigned patients, adhering to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures.Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe direct care to an assigned group of patients
• Work in collaboration with the healthcare team to implement and document individualized care plans
• Participate in orientation and assume precepting responsibilities of new personnel
• Assist with special tests and procedures, ensuring proper consent has been obtainedRequirements To be successful in this role, you must have a nationally accredited nursing graduate degree and 1 year of directly related experience. You must also be a RN in NM or have a reciprocal agreement. Additionally, you must obtain CPR for Healthcare/BLS Prov or Prof Rescuers within 30 days of hire.Working Conditions This is a Heavy Work position, requiring the ability to exert 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects or people.
