Job Summary:As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on our Operating Room team, you will provide direct nursing care to assigned patients, working within the nursing process to ensure adherence to Hospital and Departmental Policies and Procedures. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care, including patient assessment, development of individualized care plans, and implementation of evidence-based practices. This role is ideal for a compassionate and detail-oriented LPN who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to assigned patients, including vital sign monitoring, wound care, and medication administration.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, incorporating age-specific considerations and discharge planning.
• Assist with special tests and procedures, ensuring proper consent has been obtained, and participate in emergency measures as needed.
• Maintain a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients and families, adhering to Hospital standards.
• Participate in educational programs, attend in-services, and engage in continuous learning to enhance professional growth and development.Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an LPN accredited program.
  • Current LPN licensure in New Mexico or reciprocal agreement state.
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider certification.
