Assistant/Nurse Practitioner in to join our established
neurosurgery practice in New Mexico. We're all about well-being,

- Provide care in an outpatient setting for pre & post operative
patients
- Provide inpatient rounding for consults & post op
- Provide first assist in OR with ded icated OR block time and
well-equipped OR rooms.

paid malpractice insurance. Responsibilities: Summary: Assists
Physicians during general surgeries. Post operatively rounds on
patients and manages patient care in the office setting
Responsibilities: Serves as Floor PA to start patient rounds and
visit and manage patients. Prepares post op patient for discharge
(prescriptions teaching, post surgical teaching) and dictates
discharge summaries. Checks all outstanding labs on in house
patients. Responsible for seeing post op patients in office.
Responsible for seeing pre op patients in office and ensuring H &
P's, data sheets, pre-op orders & labs completed. Ability to
interpret MRI, CT & other imaging and accurately convey information
on patients to physicians. Serves as On call PA to check out with
on call surgeon at end of day. Serves as Weekend call PA to meet
with on call surgeon at designated location. Performs other
functions as required. Qualifications: Type of Opportunity: Full

- Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner with surgical experience
working in the OR, inpatient rounding and pre/post-op care in the
clinic.
- Outstanding patient care qualities, highly motivated with an
interest to increase knowledge
- Patient-focused and willing to collaborate and work in a team
environment
- Ability to obtain a medical license to practice in the state of
New MexicoPhysician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner - Baccalaureate
prepared CAHEA Certified Physician Assistant/NursePractitioner or
two (2) years working experience as a Certified Physician
Assistant/Nurse Practitioner, and licensed by the New Mexico Board
of Medical Examiners required. Minimum of two years experience.
