Overview: Presbyterian is seeking a skilled and compassionate
Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
(NICU) team. The RN will provide specialized, high-quality care to
critically ill or premature newborns, ensuring their safety,
comfort, and well-being. This role requires strong clinical
expertise, critical thinking, and the ability to support families
during a challenging time. Type of Opportunity: Full Time (0.9
FTE/36 hours per week)Work Schedule: Day or night shifts available

Responsibilities: --- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to
premature and critically ill neonates, including monitoring vital
signs, administering medications, and maintaining specialized
equipment such as ventilators and feeding tubes.--- Perform
detailed assessments of neonates physical and emotional health,
identifying any changes in condition and responding promptly.---
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team, including
neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and lactation consultants,
to develop and implement individualized care plans.--- Provide
parental education and emotional support, fostering a
family-centered care approach to help parents understand their
baby's condition and participate in their care.--- Utilize advanced
NICU technology and equipment to ensure the highest standard of
neonatal care.--- Assist in preparing neonates for procedures or
surgeries and provide post-procedure care.--- Adhere to infection
control protocols and ensure the NICU environment is clean and
safe. Qualifications: --- Associate Degree in Nursing--- State of
New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License--- BLS certification
REQUIRED at time of hire--- NRP and PALS after time of hire
