  • Years of experience REQ: 1 year; Trauma and Surgical ICU experience required
  • First-timers accepted: Yes

  • Is on-call REQ? Yes, Varies based on unit needs
  • Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes, may be floated to other ICUs, PCU floors, ED to care for admitted patients, PACU to care for admitted patients
  • Patient Diagnoses: Trauma-polytrauma, MVC, penetrating, GSW,CAD, CABG, Burns, ENT Surgeries
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week, facility is allowed to call off 3x throughout a 13-week assignment
  • Special Requirements: Trauma and Surgical ICU experience required
  • Skills Requirements: Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, Multi-system organ failure, IV insulin protocols, GI surgery, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting IVs, Continuous IV sedation, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Interpretation of ABGs, Ventilator Management

    • Pending License accepted: Yes
    • RTO Restrictions: Greater than 7 days needs approval

      • OT starts after 40 hours for 36 or 40 hour contracts; OT starts after 48 for 48 hour contracts
