  • Monitors a patient's ECG patterns for abnormal rhythms and interval measurements and reports any changes to the nursing staff and physicians.
  • Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment.
  • This is a 13-week contract assignment and requires at least one 13-week previous travel assignment and two (2) years current experience required in specialty.
    • Job Requirements
    • BLS certification required and must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
    • Take and pass Basic Arrhythmia test during Onboarding.
      • Schedule Information
      • 0630-1900 or 1830-0700 shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.
      • On call, weekends and holidays may be required, per staff rotation.
      • Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • EMR: EPIC experience preferred, but not required; can train on-site.
        • Orientation: first week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.
        • Scrubs: Required and not provided by the facility.

          • NO HOLIDAY RTO WILL BE APPROVED FOR TRAVELERS (updated 10.10.2024)
          • Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position.
          • State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice.
          • ENSURE AN ACCURATE SS# and DOB IS ENTERED. IF NOT, TRAVELER MAY BE PUSHED/AGENCY SUSPENDED (creates I.T. onboarding issues).
          • Cancellations/Fees: Please review page 13 of their contract regarding fees your agency could receive (for travelers cancelling without proper notice).
