• Certification Details
• BLS required.
• PALS, NRP and ACLS preferred.
• BLS, (ACLS, and PALS if obtained) must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.

  • Pulmonary Registered Respiratory Therapist - Adult/Gen pediatric

  • 2 years experience current required, provides cardiopulmonary diagnostic and respiratory therapeutic support for patients in the Hospital and/or outpatients that require cardiopulmonary diagnostic testing, respiratory treatment, and/or ventilatory support.
  • Flexible and accustomed to fast-paced environment.
  • Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
  • When submitting candidates include a resume and completed skills checklist/competency assessment.

    • Must have an active NM or compact license.
    • Time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval.
      • Schedule Information
      • 12 hour Day shift.
      • Weekends/Holidays required.
      • May fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.
      • On call, weekends, and holidays may be required.
      • Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Provides cardiopulmonary diagnostic and respiratory therapeutic support.
        • Must be flexible and accustomed to a fast-paced environment.
        • Travelers may need to float to units within the facility or to alternate locations.

          • NO HOLIDAY RTO WILL BE APPROVED FOR TRAVELERS (updated 10.10.2024)
          • Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position.
          • State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice. The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico.
