qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, 87124
About The Position Job Title: Post Anesthesia Care Unit Nurse Job
Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Nurse Job Duration: 13
weeks Shift: 4-10 hour day shifts Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per
week Experience: Minimum 2 years of current experience in a large
PACU environment License: Active NM or compact license
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (must be completed through
American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American
Red Cross) Must-Have: - Experience with EPIC EMR preferred - Must
successfully pass the Basic Cardiac Arrhythmias (BCA) test during
the first week of assignment Job Description: - 75-mile straight
line radius rule applies; no local travelers accepted - Candidates
must be aware of their submission and should not contact the
facility directly - At least two references required, including one
from a current manager, along with a resume and completed skills
checklist/competency assessment - Disclosure of any requested time
off upon submission is mandatory; requests after acceptance will
not be approved - Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed
to a fast-paced environment - Must have successfully completed at
least one 13-week travel assignment - Start time at 0645 or 0900;
4-10 hour shifts, with on-call duties: 4 weekdays in 6 weeks, and
weekend call 3-12 hour shifts starting at 0630 or 1830 - Shifts may
fluctuate based on department staffing needs; on-call, weekends,
and holidays may be required - First to float within the facility
and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned
location - Orientation is the 1st week of the contract, not to
exceed 40 total hours, including EPIC training - Scrubs are
required and provided by the facility - No holiday time off will be
approved for travelers - Candidates must not have been an employee
of the healthcare system for 12 months from the last day worked to
be considered for a travel position - State tax is passed through
to your agency and should be paid to the state of record - Ensure
accurate personal information is submitted, as incorrect data may
